JAZZ CONCERT AND SUPPER, FINGRINGHOE

Laura Zakian and her band

'So very many congratulations. The organisation was flawless and the musicians truly inspired. A wonderful programme.'

Benjamin Nabarro, one of the most natural musicians of his generation gave our first ever full violin and piano recital with Philip Moore. Our chamber concert showcased Kate Gould in Debussy’s dramatic cello sonata, and Festival favourites Simon Crawford-Phillips and Juliet Jopling joined them in Schubert’s ‘Trout’ Quintet.

'Thank you so much for providing one of the best weekends ever! It is so good to hear live performances of such excellent quality.'

We were particularly excited to have been able to secure Laura Zakian, whose heartfelt and soulful jazz vocals have made her a name to watch in the jazz world, and Ben Griffiths, virtuoso double bass player.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful festival it was - the best ever. You keep going from strength to strength, and you should be justly proud of what you've accomplished here.'
